How long and how much will I bleed after a delivery?

The time you bleed the most is just after delivery. Soon after delivery it is normal to bleed around 200 to 400mls with a range between 100 to 600mls. The amount over 600 mls is considered abnormal and is consistent with Post-Partum Haemorrhage (PPH). PPH is a life threating condition , which your obstetrician is fully trained to deal with.
After the first hour bleeding is reduced, however it is heavier than your menstruation period. In the course of few days to weeks, following delivery,  bleeding reduces and completely disappears. This may last from few days to about 3 – 6 weeks.

Pitfalls
  1. Bleeding more in the morning after delivery is normal due to collection of the bloods in the vagina overnight.
  2. Small clots are normal, however big clots as big as golf ball need to be reported to your obstetrician
  3. It is normal for the bleeding to have a strong smell, however the smell should not be offensive. Any offensive smell needs to be reported immediately to your obstetrician.
  4. For this period is recommended that you use sanitary pads and avoid using of tampons. Tampons can obstruct the blood flow and encourage growth of bacteria.

I TESTED POSITIVE FOR HSV-2 A FEW MONTHS AGO.
At first, Yes, I was devastated thinking I have an incurable STD for life. After doing hours of research I quickly realized genital herpes is a filthy parasite that just likes to hide in your body. Yes, There’s no “medical cure” but that doesn’t mean your body can’t get rid of it. I literally flush it out of my system with the help of Doctor Azuka, A natural herbal medicine which I ordered after doing some research. And now I’m HSV-2 negative, I never believed it until my doctor finally gave me the test results and behold I was HSV-2 free. I’m so glad that I found you, Doctor Azuka. Thanks so much for your goodness I’m grateful. You can also get your help from him through his

I remember one day I sat down and counted all the men I have met in my life and I felt so small because I know I am not perfect but I give all I can to the man aiming to remain with him but at the end of the day I remained alone. Men could come and go and I couldn't see the money I was working for being paid a good salary but I couldn't prosper when the time came that I failed to put bread on the table. My friend Totty Brobyn advised me to contact Dr Azuka +2349166175418 for a special prayer of cleansing. Dr Azuka advised me that I must do a cleansing prayer to take away all the bad luck and genealogical curse which were following me, we did the prayer online since I was far from him. It took me three days to realize changes in my life. I was promoted at work, my boyfriend also came back to me and proposed to me we have been together for two years now and things are fine. We are preparing for our wedding this December. I know that prayers work and I strongly believe the prayers of dr.azukasolutionhome@gmail.com helped me to regain my happiness thanks, Dr Azuka.

I was really stressed by Acid reflux issues with my newborn and had consulted Chief Dr Lucky. He gave us a thorough consultation and the medicines were equally effective. In a couple of weeks there was big improvement in my son and we are very pleased with the progress. We cannot thank Chief Dr Lucky enough. Highly recommended.
